It's officially been a year...
...since that first date...
...when I had the best meal of my life--not to mention the amazing company...
...and you wore those silly white tennis shoes...
...and then later tried to pull some "tender" moves on me...

It's officially been a year...
...since you started changing my life.

...of good times...
...tough times...
...maturing...
...fights here and there...
...making back up...
..."happies"...
...sacrifices--though some times not enough...
...learning to not be so selfish...
...mustaches...
...trying my hand at cooking...
...not being so hot at keeping a clean house...
...compromise...

It's been a year...
...of love.

And to be quite honest, I wouldn't trade it for anything else in the world--not even on the worst days.

I'm sorry...
...for the times I've taken you for granted...
...for letting my selfish pride get the better of me...
...for schoolin' you at putt-putt golf (ha!)...
...for some of the stupid decisions I've made...
...for not being there now...
...for not always showing you just how much I care...

But just know...
...that I love you...
...that you and David are a lot alike--and that's hot (ha!)...
...that I think you are the sexiest...
...that I respect you...
...that you still make those butterflies dance in my stomach...
...that I miss you...
...that I think you are awesome at all you do (minus the putt-putt golf--ha!)...
...that I want to be so much better for you...

Did I mention that I love you?

I have been truly blessed to have gotten to have you in my life this past year. You are one of my best friends. :) And like I've said before, God must have known what he was doing...
I can't wait to see what is to come...
