Yesterday morning, as the train was taking me away to Zwolle, I couldn't help but to look out the window and think: trains are so romantic. Who wants to see their lover off from an airport or a bus station when you could do it from the platform of a train station!
Dig if you will a picture:*

Standing on the platform, their is time for one more kiss goodbye, then you must go. You board the train, [his] gaze never leaving you the whole time, and you take your seat. Looking out of your window, you see your love standing there on the platform, waving goodbye. [He] is more than reluctant to let you go, but [he] knows you have other places to be/see, so [he] does it for your sake. [He] waves goodbye with a smile on his face because he knows that is what you need. As your train pulls away, your beloved fades in to the backdrop of the station you're leaving, until finally you can see [him] no more. But it's okay. Because whether you can see [him] or not, the love is still there...
Cliche, Hollywood movies much?! Who cares! Deep down I am a romantic.
Who knows, maybe by the time I leave Assen, I'll have a beau to see me off romantically from the station...
...But I don't really want that. I just want to come home to [you].
